About Reba
I have been in a band for the past 30 years. My students have always had the opportunity to perform on our breaks. I also sang at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC for six years, having to try out against 650 other women each year. Therefore I am qualified to teach anything from classical to classic rock. I was in the first band for Hot August Nights and played there for 20 years. I have always taken my students to perform at Children's Hospital's, malls, outdoor market places etc.
First off, I love kids. I really love making them very proud of themselves and knowing that they have what it takes.

First of all, I must verify that they can match pitch. I have worked with A-list professionals at the Kennedy Center such as orchestra leaders, who cannot sing because they cannot match pitch. I do not believe it can be taught because if it could, surely they could do it. Therefore, before I accept a student, they sing Happy Birthday for me. It doesn't have to be perfect but it must be close enough. If the student cannot match pitch, I encourage them to do all else music has to offer and that is a lot!

Reba is a wonderful voice instructor. My som Carl took lessons from her for 4 years.
