About Marianne
I am able to commute to your home or location for drawing, painting, singing, or guitar lessons.
I love being involved in the arts and music with students who are just beginning to develop a love for the arts world.
I have a master's degree in Early Childhood Education and enjoy teaching both children and adults various arts and crafts. After substitute teaching for 3 years, I decided to teach lessons on my own. I also enjoy music and have skills playing multiple instruments. I am able to teach voice lessons in addition to drawing, painting, and crafting classes.

I like to start with an assessment of where the student is at in the category of lesson. For example, if I am teaching a voice lesson, I like to start with a song they may already know to get a sense of their voice performance. If it is a painting lesson, I like to take a look at their recent work or if they are a beginner, start with simple lessons.
I have worked with students aged infant to high school and have experience teaching adults as well. I have also worked with English language learners as well as special education students.

She is very knowledgeable and a very talented artist. During the lesson, she was patient and helped me create my own art. She encouraged me when I was frustrated with myself. I would recommend her if you want to not only learn how to paint, but learn how to believe in yourself and your abilities.
