Chris Hutton is not only a phenomenal singer himself but also an exceptional teacher! I’ve never envisioned myself ENJOY singing until I learned from Chris. First, he diagnosed my voice that’s never received any type of formal training and then, provided me with various techniques to improve my confidence & skills.

I loved that my voice lessons were customized to my learning needs and pace. Chris is knowledgeable, professional and humorous too! Whenever I flood him with questions, he would patiently explain to me in a myriad of ways so I could understand not only voice theory but the practicality of it.

I believe I was Chris’ first vocal student, and I couldn’t tell by the way he ordered the lessons. His patience despite a vast resume of experience in performance was a refreshing balance. There was a great mix of vocal warmups that, when practiced consistently, opened up my breathing and control, as well as many opportunities to learn songs that I wanted to learn and could prepare for auditions. Chris is proficient, patient, and pleasant and I would highly recommend him for vocal lessons.

I was never the child star or choir kid in high school. In fact, I'd lived more than half my life without seriously considering learning how to sing. So it truly brings me joy to know that when I did finally decide to take that adventurous leap into the vocal wilderness that Chris Hutton was there to be my guide. He is a kind, optimistic teacher and -dare, I even say- opportunistic in his approach but I can see it's because he believes in his students. He can see the breakthrough on the other side of the lesson and is eager to show them what's there.
