Experienced tutor in Singing in Portland, Alex offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

My favorite part is the array of things we work on in our lessons. We start with warming up, ease into technique, and end with working on a song.

Alex is absolutely phenomenal, and really does well at pushing you to become a better singer. He finds way to meet you were you are, while also tailoring warmups and exercises to challenge you and improve technique. Lessons are always fun, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to strengthen their confidence in singing!

Alex is training me in voice, music theory: keys, chords composition, ear training, and sight reading. He is a wonderful musician, has a very good ear, and is fun to work with. I was looking for a voice teacher, and got so much more. He has opened up the world of music for me, and given it structure and order. I'm so grateful. Thank you Alex!! Manuela

I have known Alex for five or six years, and have had many lessons from him.

I am 74 years old, and had never had a voice lesson until I met Alex. I don't learn as fast or remember as well as I used to, but Alex has helped me tremendously. He is amazingly perceptive when he listens to my singing, and he is gifted in turning his perceptions into clear and actionable instructions for improvement.

On top of all that, he has a joyful sense of humor. Lessons are never a drag, they are always a treat.

I have never felt like I have improved faster than when I started taking lessons with Alex. I feel like I am always pushed to do my best, but feel very supported at the same time.
