About Sydni
Hey! My name is Sydni, and I'm a professional film and theatre actress from Southfield, Michigan. I've been performing since I was 2 years old when I started dance classes at the YMCA and I haven't stopped since. From dance classes to voice lessons, to theatre programs, I have had a lot of training and experience! I'm 27 years old and obtained my musical theatre BFA degree from Western Michigan University in 2019. Post-graduation I spent my time gaining experience in independent film and commercial work as well as voice-over work and performing in plays and musicals in the Metro-Detroit area.
It's important to me to cultivate a safe space where we can take risks, try new things, and explore new techniques that will develop you into an amazing performer. I'm seeking to accomplish your goals first and foremost while also accomplishing my goal of creating a performance quality in you that will last your for YEARS. Those who I have taught in the past have said I'm kind, patient, and attentive which I think are all important qualities for an instructor.
I understand that performing and being an artist takes a great deal of vulnerability and humility, and I will never ask my students to do anything I wouldn't try myself. I promise to bring my vulnerability and humility into the space as well so we can grow together. I look forward to learning and growing with you and witnessing you become the performer you've always dreamed of! See you soon!
