When I started working with Stacey, I had very little formal training. Stacey was patient and dedicated to helping me achieve my artistic goals right away. Having a teacher like that early on in my career gave me the confidence to walk into many audition rooms and classrooms eager to learn and share my art. Stacey Geer is #1.

Working with Stacey has truly been a blessing. She is a passionate and kind individual who cares about her students. Being a beginner singer, Stacey has taken the time to help me learn and understand the many different pieces there is to singing. She has helped me learn all types of techniques in a way that I understand them best. Coming from a dance background, she comes up with amazing analogies that really help me to grasp each concept. Not only has she helped me with my vocal techniques, but she has also helped me to gain more confidence in myself and abilities. Each lesson has been fun and enjoyable. Choosing to work with Stacey is probably one of the best decisions I have ever made! I started lessons as a shy 12-year-old who was terrified to sing on her own, and, as a 17-year-old, I played the lead in my school musical. I would have never started acting, nor would I have had the courage to play the lead, if it weren't for Stacey. Stacey has given me so much more confidence in not only singing but also in acting and in myself. She is flexible, personable, kind, compassionate, and so incredibly supportive. We have also worked on audition cuts and acting techniques. She really gets to know her students, both in the studio and out of the studio. She was even kind enough to attend one of my performances, and she was in tears as she hugged me afterwards. She gives her all for each of her students, and she is so proud of each and every one of their accomplishments. I have grown so much as a person through lessons with Stacey, and I highly recommend her to anyone who may be looking to not only learn how to sing (and act), but for a friend, lots of laughs, and so, so much fun!

In my seven years working with Stacey I had an educational and enriching experience. She always brought a positive, welcoming, and enthusiastic attitude that was contagious. She has so many creative exercises designed to train your diaphragm, your breathing, your range, and much more. My personal favorite was starting off each lesson by blowing up a balloon, which helps you have a stronger diaphragm! Along with the singing exercises, when I decided to take a dive into the world of music theory Stacey quickly adjusted the format of our lessons to make time to learn things such as sight reading, rhythm, the circle of fifths, and triads. The best part about voice lessons with Stacey is working on songs. She will let you pick any song you want or if you can't think of one she always finds ones that are good for your voice!! Stacey has helped me prepare for many auditions and because of her lessons I have become a confident singer with good technique. She is a kind, effervescent, and caring person and a wonderful teacher!

Stacey is my go-to coach when I need to work on audition material. As a professional actor, I appreciate Stacey’s knowledge and enthusiasm for musical theatre. She goes over each phrase and always comes up with vocal tricks to help make my performance the best it can be. I also love that Stacey writes in the cues for the accompanist so my sheet music is ready to go when I walk into the audition. Highly recommend Stacey to all my colleagues. BRAVA!

Stacey is one of the best voice teachers I’ve worked with! She’s patient and has a way of explaining things that makes it very easy to understand and readjust. Stacey is super nice and very talented. She isn’t intimidating or unapproachable as a teacher, which is really great considering how much she knows about music. She lets me choose or at least have a say in what I sing on any given day, and she always explains why must I do a certain exercise. She’s super friendly and after a while, feels like part of your family. Honestly, lessons with her make me feel proud to love music.

It was always fun and she has a great way of pushing you to do better while never once implying you were doing badly. Stacey is a great, knowledgeable, encouraging instructor.

There are many things that I liked about working with Stacey. She was kind, funny, understanding and thoroughly knew her stuff! She helped me find my voice and the high notes that I had lost. She could teach a method and compare it to everyday day things that helped me really grasp the concept. She kept me focused and always gave me positive encouragement when I was discouraged. She really cared about me and my progress and I knew that long after I had left the lesson she would think about where I was at and try and think of new ways to help me improve and master new techniques. The things that I learned from Stacey have become second nature and have enhanced my natural ability as a singer. I could not have asked for a better teacher. She makes me work hard and is tenacious in her Pursuit of perfection. It has been a pleasure working with her and I have and will continue to recommended others to her Studio.
