About Rachel
My services are unique because I am dedicated to results and I am always enthusiastic along the journey.
My hours are flexible and willing to make appropriate modifications as needed.
I am passionate about helping my students accomplish their goals. As a naturally competitive person, I like to engage with my students by breaking down long term goals and turning them into achievable stepping stones so that they feel challenged but hopeful. It is important to identify goals and celebrate as they are achieved. This outlook is easily transferable from class, to a sports field, to the office.
I first started tutoring students in college with their Business, English, and Spanish courses.
I started privately coaching athletes over 10 years ago and have run several training camps for field hockey and lacrosse.
Graduated Cum Laude with a BSBA in International Busienss, minoring in Spanish and Management.
Currently employeed as a risk management consultant.
Recruited and played collegiate level field hockey (3 year leading scorer, 2 conference championships, 2 NCAA tournament appearances). Also played lacrosse competitively for 10 years and familiar with recruiting process.

First we discuss what the student is looking to get out of the tutoring sessions. We break down the big goal into several smaller goals, and determine a time line.
From there, lessons are interactive and enjoyable.
