About Emma
Hello,
I studied Spanish in Costa Rica in the Costa Rica Language Acadamy. While living there I also learned how to teach language to people as a second language. Since I have moved back to The States I have tutored students of all ages, from young children to people in their 60s.
I love the Spanish language and culture very much and I enjoy it when I get the opportunity to help others grow in their knowledge and confidence in Spanish.

When I have a new student I like to, first of all, test their current skills to see where we need to begin. Afterwards, a series of lessons and homework will be given and examined. The time that I teach a student online or in-person changes from person to person based on schedules.
Sometimes I get a new student that wants to learn more in a specific area that may be confusing to them. If so then I am happy to work with that.
I generally teach students that are in or have taken Spanish 1-3, but with that being said I have also taught someone with no prior knowledge.
