About Robbie

I love what I teach! I am super passionate about Chemistry and Biology, writing, english, and Spanish! They are my favorite subjects and I have experience helping people with all of them!

I love being part of the process in which a student can see their own growth and gain confidence in the subject!

I was a spanish tutor for a few years and then began helping students with science and english/writing as well! I have also been a youth sports coach.

I have taken:

AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature, and CIS University of Minnesota Spanish.

I am now in college in PA studying Chemistry-Biology and Spanish at the undergraduate level.

About the lesson

I will find out what their goals are (general, homework, test prep, etc.) and work with them to achieve them! I will also try to discover the best way that the student learns and shape our lessons around that!

I have worked primarily with neurodivergent students and some with learning disabilities. I firmly believe that by finding the way each student learns we can find a way to cater the lesson to them!

I would say just try them out! If it doesnt work for you you can always switch. When you meet them try to communicate your needs and expectations as best you can and then see if they can support you in that!

I recently had the pleasure of becoming a Special Olympics Swimming Volunteer. It is not tutor-related however it is a coaching position that brings me great joy.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What subject do I want help with? Am I prepping for an exam, do I need homework help, or is this general support in the subject? How do I learn best? How often would I benefit from help?
