About Gabriel

As an English composer, producer, and mix engineer, I've spent the past five years sharing my expertise and passion for nurturing emerging artists and producers. The connections I've forged along this journey continually inspire and enrich my own creative endeavors.

My focus lies in music production and mix engineering, where I immerse myself fully, always seeking new avenues for growth and exploration. Additionally, I engage in regular performances and collaborations across various musical projects, alongside my ongoing pursuit of learning and honing my craft.

My musical tastes span a diverse spectrum, ranging from afrobeat ,soul and hip-hop to electronic and ambient. I draw inspiration from this eclectic palette, infusing my compositions with the vibrant textures of the world around me.

With a background in both analog and digital recording techniques, I bring a rich depth of experience to my work, seamlessly blending traditional methods with modern technologies. My proficiency extends to sound design, audio recording, MIDI orchestration, and sampling, all of which contribute to shaping the sonic landscape of my compositions.

Embracing a DIY ethos from the outset, I've crafted my most authentic music using the resources at hand, from budget-friendly microphones to MIDI controllers. My passion lies in bridging the gap between the timeless allure of analog sound and the boundless possibilities offered by digital innovations.

In essence, my journey is driven by a deep-seated curiosity and reverence for the art of sound, as I continue to explore, evolve, and push the boundaries of musical expression.

About the lesson

I specialize in dynamic and interactive teaching methods, allowing you to take the lead in our sessions according to your developmental stage. Offering personalized lessons for creatives at any level, I cover a wide range of disciplines from beginner to advanced levels, including music production, mixing, programming, recording, sound design, harmony theory, songwriting, composition, arrangement and mastering.

Understanding that each individual has unique goals and preferences, I tailor our sessions to your specific needs, whether you're inclined towards live recording, electronic programming, or a blend of both. Guiding you through technical skills such as utilizing dynamic processors and creative effects, I emphasize the importance of translating personal emotions into musical expression.

I am proficient in Fl studio and I offer expertise in various instruments including piano, guitar, recorder and synthesizers. During our sessions, you'll have access to a variety of instruments in my studio.

Beyond traditional lessons, I foster ongoing collaborative relationships with my students, evolving into production, writing, and mixing sessions as they progress. I am committed to providing honest, detailed, and constructive feedback to help you achieve your best work, and I'm happy to provide written recaps of our lessons upon request.
