About Labiba
Hi there, I am Ms Ahmed and I am a tutor for humanity-related subjects. I have studied History, Politics, Psychology, and English Literature at A level and I am currently entering my final year as a History & Politics Undergraduate at the University of Warwick. My experience as a tutor was incredibly rewarding, and whilst I was always an A* student, many of my friends were not. With my help, I tutored my friends and assisted them in achieving higher grades. I also tutored a secondary school whilst completing my A levels. Recently, I have been assisting family friends with their personal statements and essay writing skills. My career goals are to enter the field of political journalism, so I have been honing my writing abilities for many years now and I hope to share my wisdom! Qualifications: GCSE: Grade 9- English Literature, English Language, History, Geography, Religious studies, Combined Science grade 1 (further not offered at my school) Grade 8 - Maths, Spanish, Combined Science grade 2 A level: History- A Politics - A Psychology - B (one mark off an A) EPQ - A I also completed English literature in my year 12 studies, consistently achieving A*'s but according to school policy of only doing 3 A levels in year 13 I was made to drop University: 1st class average so far

My lessons will aim to develop your writing abilities, tailoring them to be perfect for examiners and admission staff. Having gone to a selective sixth form and top 10 University, I have learnt the formulae for the perfect essays & personal statements. I also attended Cambridge Summer Schools which taught me how to tailor the perfect Personal statement, entry essay, and essays for exam boards. My personal statement for University got me my first offer within 3 days of submission, and the rest followed in quickly (including offers from London School of Economics, the University of Warwick, and interviews from the University of Cambridge). Typical length of a lesson can vary according to client wants, but I estimate 1-hour sessions are best to retain attention whilst gaining expertise. I have tutored underperforming GCSE students at Kingsford Community School, helping them to go from grade 3/4s to 7-9s. My lessons are aimed at a variety of students, ages ranging from nursery to A level students. Ability of my students also does not matter, I am certain I can assist in bringing their grades to top marks!
