About Maya
Hi, I'm Maya! I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering honors student at the University of Texas at Austin. I have taken all the physics, math, and programming courses offered by College Board (and have scored all 5s) as well as several engineering courses at UT including Software Design in C/C++, Engineering Physics, Embedded Systems Design, Circuit Theory, etc. I am a passionate STEM student and excited to share what I have learned through my high school and college engineering experience with younger students!
I have experience tutoring high school students in physics, math, and programming. I have been a tutor for AP Physics 2 and AP Physics C (Mechanics + E&M) as well as AP Calculus and Java. I have conducted both one-on-one and group tutoring and saw great results in both contexts. With this experience, I believe I have the skills required to communicate challenging STEM concepts while making it a fun and rewarding experience.
