About Kelly

I wrote and taught face to face and online AP courses for over 15 years. I am a subject matter expert in Assessment and Test Questions and was a course facilitator for hundreds of teachers taking professional development in these areas. I have also been an AP course reader in Psychology.

1. The student (and parent, if they wish) and I have a 15-20 minute phone call to establish their needs and goals.
2. I will assign some diagnostic questions if a student is asking for assistance with testing strategies and prep. If tutoring also applies to content needs, the diagnostics will look at content areas.
3. During our sessions, we both go over questions that were missed or presented difficulty. Then we will also work on strategies for both preparing, studying and testing on future material.

I offer tutoring by the hour. I do not pre-determine how many sessions a student will need nor do I mandate a certain number of hours up front. My students call me when they need me.
