About Elizabeth
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, I am a high school student who has played violin for 6 years. I am passionate about music and I love to teach others as well. I am looking to help beginner and intermediate musicians learn the violin and gain formal experience teaching.
I am not very strict and will strive to create a comfortable atmosphere. However, I will absolutely impress upon my students the importance of consistent and intentional practise. Flexibility is important to me, so I can always make changes depending on the students goals.
I learned using the Suzuki method and I will use that method for my students as well. This method uses gradual exposure to new techniques to build strong playing at a consistent pace.
I don't have any previous experience formally teaching, so my rates are low and will remain low! This is a learning experience for the both of us, so I hope we can grow together!
Thanks for your time and consideration,
Elizabeth Christopher
