About Alexis
I have been studying the violin for 8 years and have absolutely loved my journey thus far. I would love to share what I have learned from my instructors with eager students. I have played in multiple school orchestras in my youth as well as orchestras throughout the community including the Women's Orchestra of Arizona, ProMusica Arizona, and the Philharmonic Ensemble within the Phoenix Youth Symphony. I was awarded a scholarship to attend a Summer Music Program in Maine and played with the Chandler Symphony Orchestra as a substitute for one of their permanent players. I feel as though I have enough experience to teach students of all ages at the beginner level. I hope to share my love of music and the violin with any and all willing students. I feel it is important to note that I am a high school student as a Junior; however, due to this reason, I am offering lessons at a reasonable price of $20 an hour.
