About Madeleine

I cater to the student. Although I do have my own pedagogy, I like to meet my students where they're at and bringing them up from there instead of imposing a regiment on them.

I love seeing my students' success. That is what I am here to do.

Over time, being a musician, I realized I had the gift of teaching and had people at my disposal that I could learn from. After that I wanted to get into it when I got to college since it's a good student job.

I am currently enrolled at James Madison University as a Music Performance major. Also, I grew up in a household with two music teachers as parents and have learned everything I can from them.

About the lesson

I begin by assessing where their level is and what their biggest need is. I then start to apply my pedagogy based on those.

I've worked with all kinds of students in the past. From very young to very old. Some with learning disabilities. No one should have an educational disadvantage because of who they are.

The student-teacher relationship is very important in music. You shouldn't hire me if you don't think I'm the right fit for you.

My pricing is a flat rate based on the length of time spent on the lesson. 30 minute lessons are $30. 1 hour lessons are $60.
