About Elizabeth

I am a local professional violinist in OKC! Currently I play classical music, as well as Irish fiddle, Folk and Bluegrass fiddle as well. There is nothing I won't play! Gypsy Jazz is next on the list...

Making music is for everyone, no matter the setting or skill level.

I have two degrees in Violin Performance, a Bachelor's from Souther Nazarene University, and a Masters in Music from Oklahoma City University.

My studies of the violin began at the age of 4 years old. There is nothing I will not play or attempt to play!

About the lesson

One word: simple. With beginning students, I start with simply learning the motions, one little accomplishable goal at a time.

Lessons are geared toward the goals of the student, whether that is music for a hobby or for a career. The intensity of our lessons are dictated by the drive of the student. I will be as invested as you are. Want to hang out and fiddle a couple of tunes? Sure! Want to dive into 3 octave scales and concertos? I'm with you!

I love making music and would be thrilled to share some of that experience with you.

St. Patrick's Day. Irish fiddle-galore! Also some of the bluegrass jams I've been to are so much fun.

Recently, due to COVID restricitions becoming better, I have been able to perform again as a part of a couple of symphony orchestras. Such a thrill and a relief to be back on stage.
