About Emelia

My volleyball lessons standout because I am in it for you, I want you to learn from me and I will be learning from you as well. I have played volleyball since I was in 4th Grade, so about 13 years now. I am 20 years old so basically my whole life has been devoided to the sport I love so very much. I played club volleyball my 5th grade year to my senior year of high school. I also switched from a setter to a libero my sophomore year, so I know in depth about two positions. I am a D2 college player looking for some side money while I am off on medical leave due to an injury last fall and one in the spring.

I am very passionate about this sport and teaching anyone and everyday what I know about it. I love the progress I get to see in my players. It brings me so much joy and happiness to see them improve and see them really understand what I am teaching them, when it finally clicks with them. I also love seeing them carry it over in a game and helping their team out and really being a team player, because that's what I am all about! Attitude is everything and I encourage the most postive attitude you can give me.

I have always done camps and have been close with my coaches, and last spring I was able to make that dream a reality.

I have been playing volleyball for 13 years now, and have played club volleyball for 8 of those years. I am a college player right now. I have also coached an club 18 year old team last spring season. I have camps many camps for littles kids to 18 year olds.

About the lesson

My first lesson will be an evaluation of the player to see where their skill level is at and what we will need to work on in the future. I also want to find out what they would like to work on and what skills they would like to improve. I will do some drills with each skill and go from there. Make a personalised lesson plan for each player and each lesson.

I have worked with middle school children to seniors in high school.

I'm not sure if this a recent event but Victoria Garrick was a former D1 volleyball player, and I look up to her so much, and her whole mindset of mental health and helping the student athletes with it.
