About Makayla and Marcus
Experience
Makayla is a TEFL Certified Tutor and Advanced Spanish Speaker. She began teaching her native language English but became very well versed in Spanish from an early age. Makayla has always been extremely passionate about helping others and is dedicated to encouraging students to fulfil their full potential.
Marcus is a Degree Graduate and Native Latin American Spanish Speaker. Born and raised in Ecuador, Marcus is extremely knowledgeable of both the cultural aspects of the language as well as providing your information on the similarities and differences between Castilian Spanish (spoken by the wide majority in Spain) and Latin American Spanish.

Experienced Tutors with Personalised Classes
Makayla (a TEFL Certified Tutor / Advanced Spanish Speaker) and Marcus (a Degree Graduate / Native Latin American Spanish Speaker) have always been extremely passionate about languages and really love that they have been given this opportunity to not only teach students from all over the world, but to learn about their cultures too. Throughout their lessons, they hope to encourage their students to positively engage in learning Spanish.
Makayla and Marcus aim to offer the best learning experience possible to their students with their unique approach to tutoring encompassing all aspects of the Spanish language; with Makayla offering knowledge from the Castilian Spanish side and Marcus sharing his Latin American roots. From teaching students how to tackle complex grammatical structures to improving conversational Spanish skills, they aim to teach in an enthusiastic, calm and friendly manner using teaching methods that are both clear and concise.
Whether it be that students know quite a lot of Spanish already or are encountering Spanish for the very first time, Makayla and Marcus feel dedicated to guiding their students to reach their full potential by offering both a fun and insightful learning experience.
