About Luke
I have been supporting students with their written assignments/essays; oral presentations; projects; group work assessments and research for more than 7+ years in a competitive academic setting. I have also assisted students to produce digital copy and….Prior to my current lecturing position, I also acquired career experience in managing student representative councils, delivering IT systems tutorials, academic media production/advertising as well as art curation for various gallery exhibitions.

THE COVID-19 pandemic has brought about many changes in our society and the way we do things. Most significantly, it has completely transformed the way we learn and complete our studies/qualifications. As a current university lecturer, I have assisted hundreds of my students to transition to online learning during this challenging time. As a result, I am able to offer support and expertise not only with my students’ learning materials, but also with their adjustment to new, online learning environments.
I have more than 7+ years’ experience teaching in one of Sydney’s top universities, across a variety of undergraduate subjects relating to:
- academic writing, research and communication
- digital/multimedia literacy
- creative and strategic thinking
- ecology and public relations
My core approach when supporting students always begins with fostering a fundamental understanding of the key concepts. From there, I aim to transform my students understanding into deeper, more complex levels of learning and academic process - guiding them to evaluate and think critically in their written expression, argument development and application of concepts. I see these skills as pivotal not only to academic success, but also in negotiating future occupations and in application to real life/world issues.
I offer ONLINE sessions for either 60 or 90 mins long.
My rate for online sessions: $45 for 1 hour or $80 for 1.5 hours. Sessions can be arranged as face-to-face if in Sydney.
