About Megan
Helping students learn violin has been a rewarding experience throughout my teaching career. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have supported teenagers and adult students through patient guidance and practical lessons.
I believe strong basics help students become better musicians in the future. Students improve bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, tone quality, and musical expression through clear explanations and consistent practice.
Every learner has different goals and learning styles, so I adapt my lessons to suit their needs. Whether preparing for performances or learning as a hobby, I provide encouragement, feedback, and support throughout their musical journey.

Learning violin becomes easier when students develop strong foundations from the beginning. My lessons include demonstrations, guided practice, and carefully planned exercises that help students improve technique, confidence, and musical understanding in a comfortable learning environment.
Students learn posture, bow hold, finger placement, bowing techniques, intonation, shifting, vibrato, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, tone production, music theory, and performance skills. Musical pieces and practical activities help students apply techniques while developing control and expressive violin playing.
Students receive constructive feedback, home practice guidance, and regular progress reviews to track their development. Whether preparing for concerts, auditions, examinations, or learning for personal enjoyment, every lesson supports steady improvement and helps students enjoy their violin journey.
