About Joan
I am a music teacher who had foresight in enrolling and completing TESOL as a teaching subject. I made friends through music and tutored New Canadians as a result. Since I studied entrepreneurship, I also taught business. I teach English with a sense of humour. Childs play is the way to learn...through humour.

My teaching methods are based on mastery. It's better to understand why things happen the way they do instead of only mimicking to satisfy demands of the examinations. I do expect students to want to learn when they come to me for lessons.
