About Takeshi
Born and raised in Japan, I’ve been immersed in an international learning environment from a young age. I started learning English at just two years old and attended international schools until age 14, before continuing my education in Canada. I completed four years of high school at Niagara Christian Collegiate, followed by four years at the University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce program, specializing in accounting, graduating in June 2025. I have a deep passion for accounting, particularly being on the side where I can analyze a company’s financial information to drive better decision-making and improvements. Beyond numbers, I enjoy playing and coaching tennis, experimenting with ingredients to create gourmet dishes, and composing music—mainly EDM rhythms and orchestral pieces—drawing from my years playing the Electone, an instrument much like an electric organ.
