About Sony
With over 8 years of ESL teaching experience, I focus on helping college students develop clear and confident communication skills. My lessons are designed to improve both academic performance and practical language use.
I work on essay writing, grammar structure, vocabulary development, pronunciation, and presentation skills. I also help students prepare for exams, interviews, and group discussions.
My classes are interactive and engaging. I use role-plays, writing workshops, reading analysis, and multimedia resources to strengthen all language skills. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson.
I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s strengths and challenges. I provide continuous feedback and clear guidance for improvement. I also include digital tools and online resources to make learning modern and efficient.
My mission is to help students achieve fluency, academic success, and long-term confidence in English communication.

My ESL teaching methodology focuses on practical communication and real-life application. I believe students learn English best when they can use it in everyday situations. I use real-life examples and case studies such as workplace conversations, travel situations, interviews, academic discussions, and social interactions.
This helps students connect classroom learning with real-world use. Motivation is very important in my classes. I encourage students to set small goals and work consistently towards improvement.
I create a positive and respectful environment where students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. When students face difficulties, I use problem-solving techniques to identify the root cause and provide simple, clear explanations. I give structured practice to improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency. Integrity guides my teaching practice, and I provide honest feedback to support steady progress.
I am flexible and adjust my teaching style based on the student’s level and learning needs. In addition to ESL, I also teach spoken English, business communication, grammar fundamentals, academic writing, and interview preparation.
