About Liza
I am a Combined Honours Graduate in English and French with a unique dual perspective on language. Having lived and worked in the Limousin region of France for a decade, I developed a deep, native-level fluency rooted in everyday life and professional entrepreneurship.
My professional background is in media sales, marketing, and the fashion/retail sectors. This "real world" experience means I don't just teach the language; I understand the cultural nuances and communication styles required in professional environments.
For several years in France, I coached both adults and children, helping them master English. This "reverse" experience gave me a specialised understanding of the linguistic pitfalls English speakers face.
In addition to my language work, I am a creative educator and run mixed-media art workshops. I am fully UK DBS checked and provide a safe, engaging environment for all learners. I offer specialised daytime sessions for home-educated students, building bespoke curricula that align with their interests while hitting academic goals.

With a decade of immersion in France, I provide high-impact online coaching designed to bridge the gap between "classroom French" and true fluency.
My Approach:
Conducted online and typically 60 minutes long, my lessons are tailored to the needs of each student, helping them to achieve to the best of their ability. I focus on:
Accent Fine-Tuning: Moving beyond the textbook to sound more native.
Exam Mastery: Mastering sophisticated phrases and complex grammar (like the subjunctive and advanced idioms) to secure maximum marks in GCSE and A-Level oral/listening exams.
Professional Coaching: Bespoke sessions for professionals looking to excel in industry-specific sectors.
