About Sam
Hey! I'm Sam - Wellington Local and active music producer/performer.
I love teaching guitar and sharing my passion for music with students. Each lesson is not only an opportunity to make technical progress but to deepen the relationship with music - which can ultimately become a meaningful source of vitality in someone’s life!
Through 13 years of lessons, I have fine-tuned my approach for finding each student's spark and bringing out their enthusiasm for music.

I have taught guitar to 4-year-olds and 64-year-olds... Beginners with NO prior experience and Advanced shredders who give me a run for my money... Pop, Metal, Jazz, Reggae and more…
The only way to get REALLY GOOD at something is to ENJOY IT.
This idea is CENTRAL to my lessons; they are structured based on what resonates with YOU. Perhaps you'd love to learn your favorite artists' songs? Or dive deep on technique? Nerd out on music theory? Learn the ropes of writing your own music? I love sharing my passion for music with students and helping them foster their own enthusiasm through lessons!
Lessons are weekly. 30 minute lessons for $40 and 1 hour lessons for $70. The first 30 minute lesson is free.

-From teaching 200+ students over the years, I’ve learned the best way to get quick progress out of students and importantly how to make it fun!
