I am a native Japanese tutor from Yamagata with over 10 years of professional teaching experience and a strong academic background from the University of California (UC) and the University of Birmingham (UK). Deadly! Manaka is a fantastic tutor and has a great amount of insight as a native Japanese speaker. Her methodology is flexible depending on what's needed. Whether that is reviewing straight out of the Genki textbooks, providing supplementary lessons or giving first-hand advice, she meets you at your level and helps you find your own pace. Her conversational focus has really helped me to improve my Japanese skills in only a few month's time! She's also very friendly and always makes the lessons feel more like a conversation.
