About Loveth
Hello! I’m Miss Loveth, and I’m passionate about helping students discover the power of History and understand how the past shapes the world we live in today. With over seven years of experience teaching and preparing learners for GCSE (all specifications), Checkpoint, AP, IB, and World History, I know that every student learns differently — and I tailor my lessons to bring History to life in a way that makes sense for you.
I chose to teach History because I believe that understanding the past builds critical thinking, empathy, and perspective — skills that go far beyond the classroom. Watching a student connect the dots between historical events, analyze sources with confidence, and express their ideas clearly is one of the greatest rewards of teaching.

My teaching approach is student-centered, designed to help learners build confidence, critical thinking, and historical mastery through engaging and structured lessons.I combine several key methods to ensure deep understanding and exam success:Diagnostic assessment to identify each learner’s strengths and areas for growth, Step-by-step skill-building in source analysis, essay writing, and historical interpretation, Interactive lessons that use maps, visuals, debates, and past paper analysis to make History engaging, Scaffolded writing tasks that progressively challenge students to think and write like historians
Regular feedback to track progress, strengthen exam techniques, and encourage reflection. Each session lasts 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s age and attention span. Lessons can be weekly or biweekly, with optional short assignments for reinforcement between sessions. I also integrate exam preparation strategies — including time management, question deconstruction, annotation, and structuring high-mark responses — tailored to each exam board’s expectations.
With 7+ years of tutoring experience and proven success in GCSE (all specifications), AP History, IB HL & SL, Cambridge Checkpoint, and World History, I’m familiar with both the British National Curriculum and international school standards.
