About Penny
I am a committed piano tutor with over 12 years of experience helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds grow as musicians. I believe that learning piano is about more than technical skill—it is about creativity, expression, and enjoyment.
My teaching methodology focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalized instruction. I assess each student’s abilities and goals, then create lessons that strengthen fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading. I also incorporate music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop complete musicianship.
Lessons are creative, engaging, and interactive, often including song practice, improvisation, and performance preparation. I specialize in simplifying complex concepts, motivating students, and helping them develop confidence, consistency, and disciplined practice habits. My ultimate goal is to provide a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment where students can enjoy learning piano and achieve their full potential.

In addition to piano, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive approach helps students develop both technical skills and musical understanding. My aim is to create a learning experience that builds confidence, skill, and a lifelong love for music in every student.
