My method is a balanced pedagogical approach that integrates the structural discipline of the Suzuki Method with the technical precision of the Traditional European School. I place a heavy emphasis on ergonomics and bow geometry to ensure students develop a tension-free technique from day one. By blending ear training with formal sight-reading, I empower students to not only read music but to "feel" the instrument.
A Typical Lesson Plan
To ensure maximum ROI for my students' time, every 60-minute session follows a rigorous professional structure:
Technical Warm-up (15 mins): Focus on intonation, vibrato development, and scales to build "muscle memory."
Etude & Technique (15 mins): Solving specific mechanical challenges through studies like Wohlfahrt or Kayser.
Repertoire Performance (25 mins): Applying technical skills to pieces, focusing on phrasing, dynamics, and stylistic interpretation.
Strategic Wrap-up (5 mins): Defining clear, actionable practice goals for the upcoming week.
