For the past eight years, I've been immersed in the rewarding world of guitar instruction, guiding over 300 aspiring musicians on their individual journeys. My philosophy centers on tailoring lessons to each student's aspirations, whether their ambition is to strum campfire chords or shred intricate solos. I firmly believe in establishing a robust foundation in technique, encompassing everything from proper posture and fingerpicking patterns to mastering scales and chord voicings. Beyond the technical, I encourage exploration across diverse musical landscapes, from the bluesy bends of classic rock to the rhythmic complexities of flamenco and the melodic intricacies of jazz. Cultivating creativity is paramount in my teaching; I provide a supportive environment where students feel empowered to experiment, improvise, and discover their unique musical voice.
