About Ashutosh
I am a self-taught student of Vedanta who has spent years exploring the ideas of philosophers and thinkers from around the world. Being native to the Indian subcontinent, I naturally gravitated towards Asian philosophy, whose depth and holistic approach I found particularly compelling.
Throughout my studies, I maintained extensive notes and reflections. Over time, these evolved into what I consider my best attempt at a holistic commentary on the Bhagavad Gita, which I have self-published.
I do not claim to be a traditional scholar or guru. My aim is simply to engage in meaningful discussions with curious minds and sincere learners. If, through our conversations, I am able to impart some understanding of the Gita and its philosophy, that would be a welcome bonus.

My lessons are not conventional scripture classes focused on memorisation or dogma. They are discussions aimed at understanding the Bhagavad Gita as a profound philosophical text and a guide to living.
Drawing upon my self-published commentary on the Gita and years of independent study of Vedanta and world philosophy, I approach each chapter holistically, examining its metaphysical, ethical, and practical dimensions. We explore the Gita's ideas on duty, action, selfhood, suffering, freedom, and the pursuit of a meaningful life.
The classes are conversational and tailored to the interests of the learner. Beginners are welcome, as are readers who have already encountered the Gita and wish to engage with it more deeply. Questions, disagreements, and curiosity are encouraged, for philosophy comes alive through sincere inquiry and dialogue.
My objective is not to provide final answers, but to help learners think more clearly, appreciate the depth of Indian philosophy, and develop their own understanding of the timeless wisdom contained in the Bhagavad Gita.
