About Mara
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and have 10 years of teaching experience. My journey with piano began through classical training and evolved into performance and teaching. I enjoy guiding students from beginner stages to advanced musical expression. Every learner progresses differently, and I support their individual journey.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and supportive. I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging musical creativity. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace and goals. I believe consistent practice leads to long-term improvement.
Outside teaching, I continue studying piano repertoire and refining teaching techniques. These experiences help me keep lessons engaging and effective. I also enjoy exploring new musical styles. My goal is to help students build lifelong confidence in piano.

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical control while expressing music with clarity and emotion. I begin with finger strengthening exercises, hand coordination training, rhythm accuracy, note reading, scale practice, and chord recognition. Students also learn articulation, dynamics shaping, and tempo control. Each concept is explained step by step so learners can progress with confidence and clarity. My approach is structured and encouraging.
As students progress, lessons include sight reading practice, duet playing, ear training, improvisation, and repertoire development. I also encourage creative expression alongside disciplined technical work. Practice routines are designed to build consistency and focus. Regular feedback helps students improve steadily. This creates both confidence and independence.
Advanced learners focus on performance preparation, expressive interpretation, technical refinement, and stage confidence. I also support audition preparation and exam readiness. My goal is to help students perform with accuracy, emotion, and musical maturity.
