About Jade
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and have 9 years of teaching experience. My journey with violin began through classical training and ensemble performance. Over time, I developed a passion for teaching and guiding students. I enjoy helping learners grow from uncertainty into confidence.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and supportive. I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging musical expression. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace and goals. I believe consistent practice and clear guidance lead to steady improvement.
Outside teaching, I continue studying violin repertoire and refining performance techniques. I also explore new teaching methods to improve learning outcomes. These experiences help me keep lessons engaging and effective. My goal is to help students build lifelong musical confidence.

My violin lessons focus on helping students build strong technical foundations while developing expressive musical ability. I begin with posture alignment, bow hold correction, left-hand finger placement, intonation training, rhythm stability, and tone production. Students also learn smooth phrasing and controlled sound shaping. Each concept is explained step by step so learners can progress clearly and confidently. My approach is calm and supportive.
As students advance, lessons include scale practice, shifting techniques, vibrato development, slow bow exercises, and repertoire building. I also include listening practice to help students understand tone quality and musical interpretation. Students returning after a break receive gentle rebuilding exercises to restore confidence and control. Mistakes are treated as part of learning progress. This helps students stay motivated and consistent.
Advanced learners focus on performance preparation, expressive interpretation, technical refinement, and stage confidence. I also guide structured practice habits and help manage performance anxiety. My goal is to help every student play with clarity, expression, and confidence.
