About Taylor
With 8 years of experience teaching flute, I have learned that every student succeeds when they feel encouraged and supported. I teach school and college students in a friendly environment where learning is both enjoyable and effective.
My lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, rhythm, finger placement, scales, articulation, and tone development. As students improve, I help them develop musical expression and stage confidence.
Watching students achieve their goals through dedication and practice has been the most rewarding milestone of my teaching career. I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, and beginner music skills.
My goal is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning for life.

My flute teaching approach is designed to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable. I use Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to support students as they develop musical knowledge and technical ability.
Students first build strong fundamentals including breathing techniques, posture, finger movement, rhythm, and note reading. Advanced lessons focus on articulation, scales, expressive performance, improvisation, dynamics, and musical interpretation.
I motivate students by celebrating every success and helping them overcome challenges with confidence. Communication is always simple, patient, and encouraging. Integrity allows me to maintain honesty and respect while giving every student equal support.
Creative learning includes familiar songs, rhythm games, ear training, listening activities, duet practice, and improvisation. Besides flute, I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, and music appreciation.
