About Riyan
Hi! I am Riyan. I am in my last year at university studying medicine at the University of York. I took 2 gap years before university to work as an au pair in Milan, Italy and Nice, France. During my time at university, I have picked up road cycling and rowing so as you can guess I love sports! I am an avid runner and recently ran my first Half marathon in London. I love languages, reading, baking, flower arranging, Sunday morning coffee walks and most of all fashion. However, my true passions are science and helping people hence why I am now studying medicine to hopefully be a doctor in the near future. I can chat about anything and everything but I promise I will keep this to a minimum during your lessons with me! :)

Whatever works for you works for me! What you can expect is someone who is willing to take their time to explain concepts and topics to ensure full understanding. No question is a stupid one in my class. -We will aim for a 1hr lesson length each time however I am happy to accommodate to what suits your needs. -You can expect a pre-planned agenda based on your needs and previous discussions. - Exam technique can be a focus if needed. - My lessons are tailored to all secondary school students including GCSEs as well as A levels. - I achieved 6A*s, 7As at GCSEs (I know, I'm old! we still had the letter system!) - Went on to achieve A*AA at A level in French, biology, chemistry and now study medicine at university. - I have undertaken tutoring work both for GCSE levels and A level students over my years at university but am now transferring this online!
