I employ a mix of interactive and student-centred teaching techniques. Regular Feedback: I provide constructive feedback during sessions and encourage self-reflection, helping students recognise their strengths and areas for improvement. Resource Utilisation: I incorporate a variety of resources, including multimedia content, textbooks, and practice papers, to keep lessons engaging and informative. Typical Length of a Lesson: Each tutoring lesson typically lasts for one hour. This timeframe allows for an in-depth exploration of topics while maintaining focus and retention for the student. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: I have significant experience teaching GCSE subjects, as well as A-Level History, and I also assist with NEA projects and personal statement writing. My background in Politics and International Relations equips me to provide a broad understanding of historical and contemporary issues, enhancing the learning experience. Additionally, I have a strong academic record, which gives me the credibility needed to foster trust and engagement in my students. Target Audience: My lessons are primarily aimed at students preparing for GCSEs and A-Levels, ranging typically from ages 14 to 18. I also offer tutoring for 7+/11+ entrance exams across various subjects, making my sessions suitable for younger students seeking to enhance their academic skills. Overall, my goal as a tutor is to foster a positive and productive learning environment that empowers students to achieve their academic goals while developing critical thinking skills that will serve them beyond the classroom
