About the lesson

I have studied French for over 5 years and have spent time abroad in Paris learning the language and its nuances. I focus on creating a personalized, communicative, and culturally rich environment where students feel confident speaking from day one. My methodology is rooted in the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, meaning the primary focus is on effective communication rather than rote memorization of grammar rules. I offer classes across the full spectrum of learners, tailoring my materials and pace to meet specific needs: Absolute Beginners (A1-A2): Students starting from zero, focusing on basic greetings, travel phrases, common vocabulary, and building foundational confidence. Intermediate (B1-B2): Students looking to bridge the gap between structured learning and fluid conversation. We focus on complex grammar (subjonctif, past tenses), idiomatic expressions, and expressing opinions clearly. I don't use a fixed textbook. I build a unique curriculum for every student based on their interests (e.g., using French cooking shows for a culinary student, or business articles for a professional). I leverage modern online tools for interactive learning, including shared digital whiteboards, interactive quizzes (like Quizlet/Kahoot), and authentic video platforms to keep the lessons dynamic and engaging.
