About Helen
I am a final year student at the University of Manchester and is currently studying a degree in Chinese and Japanese. I am a native English speaker and have a passion for languages. I have had experience with teaching languages through various internships. I wish to hopefully pursue a career in teaching languages and help others realise the joy in learning foreign languages.

I am more than happy to teach students of any level, whether it be beginners or advanced, I am always willing to help. My teaching methodology involves getting the students engaging with the topic by having thorough discussions (as there is no better way to learn a language than to physically use it) about the topic at hand. I will go through grammar points, explain and test students on them to track development. I also like to explore the topic on a broader scale, linking it to other relevant things e.g. pop culture to make it more understandable and relatable.
