About Arush

8+ years of financial analysis and cost modeling across consulting and engineering, plus 12 finance and accounting courses at London Business School. The professional work came first. The MBA built on it with corporate finance, M&A, PE/VC, distressed investing, asset management, corporate valuation, and financial reporting analytics.

I use Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and Python for financial calculations. The models I build at work are the same ones I teach in sessions.

Engineering degree from IIT Kanpur. I work with uni students and professionals, from introductory accounting all the way through to LBO structures and 3-statement models.

About the lesson

Whether you have a problem set due this week or an exam around the corner, bring your materials to our session and I'll walk through them with you step by step:

- Financial accounting: Journal entries, T-accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, depreciation, inventory (FIFO/LIFO), and building cash flow statements without getting confused.
- Corporate finance problem sets: Time value of money (NPV, IRR), WACC, CAPM, stock/bond valuation, and capital budgeting problems.
- Managerial & cost accounting: Cost-volume-profit (CVP), break-even analysis, overhead allocation, and variance analysis.
- Practice exams & midterms: Walking through past exam papers and review packets with you so you recognize the question patterns and avoid tricky exam traps.

I focus directly on your course questions, making sure you get full marks on your assignments and walk into your exams feeling confident.

If you need help with something specific, send me the brief before we meet. I'll look at it beforehand so we don't spend half the session figuring out the task. Good for coursework, exam prep, or getting a model built or unstuck.
