About Alice
Hello! I'm Alice, an English and Theatre graduate from the University of Warwick, where I achieved First Class Honours. I am now completing an MSt in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford.
My academic journey includes Grade 9s in both English Literature and Language at GCSE, followed by top A-Levels in English, History and Theatre. I'm passionate about sharing the strategies and techniques that helped me succeed – from foundational GCSE skills to advanced analytical methods that earn top grades. As a practising playwright and theatre company founder, I bring creativity and real-world writing experience to my teaching. I believe every student has untapped potential, and I'm committed to helping you discover yours through clear, structured guidance and proven techniques that build both skills and confidence

My tutoring approach adapts to each student's needs, from GCSE through to university level. With experience across English Literature, Language and academic writing, I create personalised strategies that build both technical skills and creative confidence. At GCSE and A-Level, I focus on mastering essay structure, textual analysis, and exam technique. For university students, I provide advanced guidance on research, essay structure and scholarly writing. Every student learns differently. I identify individual strengths and areas for growth with patience and understanding. Through a supportive approach, I aim to help students gain the confidence they need to excel academically, while fostering both creative thinking and analytical skills.
