About Jade
I am a classically trained singer and performer from South Yorkshire. I studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, where I obtained my bachelors with first class honours. During my time there, I worked with world class tutors and professionals.
From a young age, I was drawn to music through my love of dance. I've always been immersed in artistic direction and have never diverged elsewhere. I'm privileged to have had extensive performance experience in a variety of theatre, opera and concerts in both choir and solo settings. My versatility has allowed me to perform in various settings including singing for ITV, BBC Radio and the O2 Arena in London. In addition, prior to my studies at the RNCM, I was an actress at Disneyland Paris. My love for classical voice came from being inspired by singers such as Mary Costa and Barbara Bonney.
Although I come from a classical background, I have experience in a variety of genres and styles including musical theatre, pop, jazz and gospel.
As a tutor, I am passionate about passing on my experiences and still perform regularly.

My approach to teaching is provide a fun and nurturing environment whilst building confidence each lesson. Music and Singing should be fun! I studied pedagogy and education during my degree at the RNCM and use these techniques during my lesson. Each class is 30 minutes to 1 hour and I tailor them to suit your goals. I have experience teaching at some of the UK's leading performing arts schools from ages 4-18. All backgrounds and ages welcome! I aim to cultivate a life long love for music with each of my students.
