About Alana
While just starting out as a tutor, I am highly passionate about the value of language learning in today's world and want to encourage young people to find the same joy and enthusiasm that I have experienced pursuing French up to degree level.
I have just graduated from King's College London with a first class BA in European Studies and French, and am currently beginning a master's degree in EU Politics at the London School of Economics.
During my undergraduate degree I lived in France for one year, studying at Sciences Po, Paris. My year at Sciences Po involved me taking classes taught in French, and thus I have considerable experience in French academic writing for essays and exams as well as oral presentation skills alongside my every day vocabulary built up through day-to-day life in France.
I am happy to tutor all levels of French up to A level.
