About Diana

Hi, I’m a qualified nurse and newly qualified midwife and I’m here to help you feel confident, capable, and fully supported in your healthcare studies. I understand the pressure of exams, the stress of assignments, and the nerves before OSCEs — because I’ve been through it all myself. My goal is to take the overwhelm out of learning and replace it with clarity, confidence, and progress. With real clinical experience and a strong academic background, I offer tutoring that’s not just informative, but also relevant, practical, and tailored to your needs. Whether you’re a student nurse, midwife in training, or studying Health & Social Care at GCSE or A-Level, I’ll meet you exactly where you are — no jargon, no judgement, just real support. I take pride in creating a friendly, professional, and safe space for students to ask questions, make mistakes, and truly understand what they’re learning. My sessions are structured but flexible, and always focused on helping you reach your goals — whether that’s passing an exam, mastering clinical skills, or simply feeling more confident in your knowledge. If you’re looking for a tutor who understands your journey, speaks your language, and genuinely wants to see you succeed — I’d love to work with you.

Having just completed my midwifery training, I know exactly what it feels like to be in your shoes — the pressure, the passion, and the occasional panic! My tutoring style is supportive, interactive, and never intimidating — think of me as your study buddy with clinical insight and academic excellence. I break down complex healthcare topics into understandable, real-world examples, using techniques I found helpful during my own training. I work with: --Student Nurses: Assignment support, OSCE prep, academic writing, clinical reasoning, reflective practice --Health & Social Care Students: GCSE, A-Level, or BTEC content, exam prep, coursework guidance --Aspiring Healthcare Professionals: UCAS personal statement reviews, interview prep for nursing/midwifery/healthcare programmes. Whether you're just starting out or deep into your degree, I can simplify complex topics and help you build real confidence. My Teaching Style --Friendly, approachable, and student-led --I explain things how I wish someone had explained them to me --Visual, practical, and always tailored to your learning style --Encouragement + accountability = results --Visual + verbal tools: I use diagrams, real-life case scenarios, and structured frameworks to simplify information --Active learning: I engage you through Q&A, mini quizzes, mock assessments (like OSCE practice), and reflection --Real talk: I explain concepts the way I wish someone had explained them to me — clear, no jargon, and to the point. Typical lesson length: 60 minutes (but flexible to 30 or 90 minutes depending on your needs) Online via Zoom or in person (location dependent) Homework, notes, or revision support provided if requested.
