About India
Hey I’m India, a dedicated tutor with a First-Class Honours degree from Bristol School of Acting. I did A Level & GCSE Spanish as a non-native and got A*s so I have been through the process before and understand the challenges. I also used to struggle with maths as a child but then ended up really enjoying it and achieved an A* at GCSE! I have teaching experience assisting in schools and I’m passionate about helping students whether it's to help you unlock your full potential or just get through a subject you're struggling with. I bring a creative flair to my tutoring sessions, inspired by my background in stage and screen. This experience helps me present lessons in dynamic and relatable ways, making learning enjoyable and memorable. I also like to create a calm, comfortable and chill atmosphere in my sessions as stress is the worst and so unhelpful for learning... I believe that every student has unique strengths and challenges, and I aim to provide personalised support that caters to individual needs, no matter what they may be. When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me dancing, as I loveeee to move! It's good for the soul :)

I teach in a personable, holistic way and I want to help in any and every way I can. We may start with a check-in, then progress to homework help and new tasks to work through together. Typical lesson- 1 hour.
