About Georgia

Hi! I’m a first class law LLB graduate and completed a year studying law in Noway. I my recent job role was working as a family law paralegal in a regional law firm. During my degree, I found myself drawn to debating and mooting, and I’ve managed to win a few competitions in the process. I passionate about law, but I know how difficult it can be, so I hope to help make it less daunting though my lessons!

About the lesson

Although a student-led and flexible approach to tutoring is important, structure when learning law is essential too. Studying law can be broken into two key elements, module content and legal skills. My lessons will each begin with a short skills evaluation, moving on to covering student-selected module content, and then applying this to practice various legal skills. Sessions will end with another short skills evaluation to help each student track their progress and identify areas for further improvement. Legal skills would include essay writing, critical thinking, legal research and analysis. Module content can include core law modules and also International, EU and EEA, Human Rights, and other modules can be covered if notice is given. I am particularly proficient in practical legal skills such as smoothing, debating, and interview preparation.
