About Alexandra
I am a lawyer by trade, graduating with my law degree in 2018, also spending one year on exchange at the University of Hong Kong studying law and Chinese. After graduating, I got a teaching job in Hong Kong working at a tutoring center preparing students for UK school entrance exams and general tutoring in English literature and humanities. I then got a job at a top boutique law firm in Hong Kong before moving into an in-house role at an investment bank. Corporate law was not for me and so after 5 years, I returned to academia and I am pursuing my PhD in law in order to go on to be a university professor.

I have a breadth of teaching experience from English literature to politics to debate and test prep (boarding school entrance, GCSE/A-level/IB). I also graduated with an IB diploma myself and took boarding school entrance and scholarship exams, successively gaining a place at a top UK boarding school. I have taught at an international school in Hong Kong and done 1:1 tutoring. I adapt my teaching style and content to best suit the student and how they learn and can thrive.
