About Hin
I am an experienced piano tutor with 10 years of teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalised guidance, patience, and creativity, ensuring that each student feels supported and motivated to achieve their musical goals.
I have helped students perform in recitals, complete graded exams, and participate in competitions, achieving both technical proficiency and artistic growth. Lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all adapted to the student’s level and interests.
I aim to make every lesson engaging, productive, and inspiring, helping students develop confidence and a lifelong passion for music.

I use a teaching methodology grounded in compassion, clarity, and supportive guidance. I recognise that each student has a unique way of learning, and I tailor lessons to their pace, style, and goals. In piano lessons, I focus on technical skill, musical interpretation, rhythm, and creative expression, combining structured exercises with pieces that are both fun and challenging.
Open communication is essential—I encourage students to ask questions, reflect on progress, and actively participate in their learning. Supportiveness is key—I celebrate achievements, guide students through difficulties, and help them build confidence and self-motivation.
I also apply this approach to other subjects I teach, such as music theory, composition, and beginner improvisation. My goal is to create a positive, inspiring environment where students develop skill, creativity, and a lifelong passion for learning.
