About Olivia

I am a Modern Languages graduate from the University of Cambridge with a first class degree in French and Spanish. I love learning languages and believe that my experience learning French and Spanish makes me perfect for understanding problems that students make encounter. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running and cooking.

About the lesson

I take a tailored, laid back approach to language learning and focus on building the student’s confidence with the language. Depending on your needs, we can go from informal conversation practice to structured grammar lessons. I have extensive experience as a private tutor meaning that I can easily adapt to these needs and have plenty of resources available. Feel free to get in touch about your learning objectives!

Experience:
- English language assistant, Catholic University of Colombia, Bogotá (1 year).
- French assistant, Parkside Secondary School, Cambridge.

During my Cambridge degree I assisted in GCSE French revision sessions, helping students with their spoken confidence.
- English tutor in Paris, France (1 year).
- English summer camp in Beijing, China: I was the teacher for a class of 12 Chinese students, working on improving their spoken English.
