About Nazneen
I’m an Investigation Officer currently completing a Solicitor Apprenticeship, which includes a Law Degree and preparation for the SQE exams. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation. Alongside my professional journey, I’ve always had a deep passion for English Language and Literature. Throughout my studies and career, it’s become clear just how essential strong communication and analytical skills are in every field. I’ve gained valuable teaching experience in schools and have taught students face to face — one of my favourite roles during university. Now, as I continue my legal career, I want to return to tutoring by helping students online who may find English challenging. My approach is simple: I’m here to understand you, identify your weaknesses, and turn them into strengths. I don’t believe in pressure — only in support, clarity, and growth. Together, we’ll build confidence and results you can be proud of.

I’ve always been passionate about English Literature and Language — not just as subjects, but as essential life skills. During my own studies, I was once the student who struggled. I spent countless hours revising before realising that success isn’t about how much time you spend, but about the quality and understanding behind your learning. That realisation transformed how I approached studying — and it’s now at the heart of how I teach. My goal is to help students embrace and enjoy English Literature, while recognising how deeply it influences their future studies, careers, and everyday communication. In our lessons, I will: • Assess each student during the first free session to understand their learning style and areas for improvement. • Create a personalised teaching plan tailored to their needs. • Provide exam-style homework which I will mark and give detailed feedback on. • Develop speaking and presentation skills through short tasks that build confidence and eloquence — key elements of the GCSE course. • Teach grammar, punctuation, spelling, and text analysis, helping students understand writers’ techniques and intentions. • Offer practical guidance on writing CVs and formal documents, giving students real-world communication skills beyond exams. No matter how much we try to avoid certain subjects, English is everywhere — from writing an email to presenting ideas at work or university. My aim is to prepare students not just for exams, but for life.
